Pepperdine University, The Mountain at Mullin Park

Structural Focus has partnered with Pepperdine on more than 120 projects since 2010. For the recent Mountain Project, the firm provided structural peer review of the designs for a new university events center and gym facility, a new 4-story recreation and wellness center, and an 825-space reinforced concrete parking structure. Concrete slabs and retaining walls form plazas between the buildings to provide connection and circulation among them. Altogether, the Mountain comprises one of the largest construction projects ever undertaken by the university.
