Taylor Funk

Associate, S.E.

Taylor Funk earned her B.S. from U.C. Berkeley and an M.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of Texas, Austin. She joined Structural Focus in 2012 as an intern and rejoined the firm full-time in 2013. In addition to her full-time employment with Structural Focus, Taylor is also the Co-Chair of Women in Structural Engineering (WiSE) and the recipient of the 2023 Young Engineer of the Year Award. Taylor is a licensed Structural Engineer, and she has worked on several historic renovations, structural design, and seismic upgrades including the Debbie Allen Dance Academy, The Huntington Library Rose Garden Tea Room renovation, and the Nan Elizabeth Walsh (NEW) Schow Residence Hall on the Scripps College Campus, among other projects.
