Project details

Formerly a U.S. Post Office distribution center, The Reserve is a multi-tenant campus with a central courtyard, creative office spaces, and volleyball courts. The 400,000 SF plus, LEED Gold certified adaptive reuse project is housed on 20-acre site at the edge of a restored wetlands and wildlife preserve in Playa Vista.

Structural Focus designed the retrofit of the core and shell structures and provided design services for all of the tenants on the site, including Microsoft, Team One Advertising, TMZ, Sony Motion Capture Studio and Verizon. This project is considered one of the most noteworthy adaptive reuse projects in the country.
