Structural Focus designed a new 51,000 SF, state-of-the-art, two-story building on the Burbank lot, the structure contains two large dubbing theaters, a new ADR stage, dozens of editing rooms, and many offices. The technical spaces had stringent acoustical requirements; the structural system was designed to assist in meeting those requirements. The larger dubbing and ADR stages are surrounded by a concrete masonry wall perimeter, and the editing rooms have floating concrete slabs to prevent the transfer of vibrations between the spaces.
